D2 - Explain how what you've created supports your advertising campaign

Image
D2- How effective is my advertising campaign?  Here you can see my completed TV advert, magazine and web banner advertisements for the Effervescent healthy fizzy canned drink advertising campaign that Coca Cola LTD (my client) has asked me to create. I believe my advertising campaign is very effective because I have used the same campaign message across all advertisements; the advertisement styles also link to the campaign message of “For a happy, healthy and Instagrammable morning!”. The Effervescent healthy fizzy canned drink is supposed to make the target audience of 16–25-year-olds feel happier, healthier and have an optimistic for the day ahead; I am targeting the drink as more of a morning drink. An advertising campaign is supposed to have a consistent campaign message throughout the different advertising mediums, I have achieved this as you can see in the screenshots above. The campaign message focuses more on a social media aspect; t...

M3 - Explain what codes and conventions you've used in your adverts

Image
M3- Codes and conventions in my       advertisements As a part of the advertising campaign, the client has asked me to create a TV advert, web banner and print advertisements for my Effervescent healthy fizzy canned drink. In all the advertisements, I have used the same message throughout to create a successful advertising campaign “For a happy, healthy and Instagrammable morning”. This is a convention of advertising campaigns and adverts in general, there is no point in having an advert without a slogan or message to create brand identity. All the advertisements are based around the advertising campaign message, the message says that the Effervescent canned drink is great for social media pictures and might get you more likes. My logo is also a convention of advertisements; you can see the Effervescent logo all throughout my advertising campaign. The logo can be seen in the top right corner of my web and print advertisements, and on...

P4 - Report showing what you've produced

Image
P4- What I have produced      You can see the completed adverts I have created in the screenshots above. I have created a print advertisement to put in a magazine, a large rectangle web banner and a TV advertisement for the Effervescent advertising campaign. The print advertisement is A4 (210 x 297 mm) so it can fit in a magazine. I want to put this advertisement in a health magazine and other magazines my target audience would be interested in for example influencer/celebrity magazines and social media magazines. I think this is effective because the advertising campaign is based around the use of social media.  The web advert is a large rectangle banner which is 336 x 280 pixels, I want to use this on Facebook and other social media platforms or food or health websites. I could also put this on celebrity websites because my target audience might be interested in them. The Effervescent TV advertis...

D1 - Discuss the legal and ethical issues for your advertising campaign

D1: Legal and Ethical issues to consider for my advertising campaign There are lots of legal issues I must comply with to make sure the Effervescent healthy fizzy banana flavoured canned drink advertising campaign is in line with the laws and doesn’t cause offence. Copyright Copyright is a law that protects someone’s work (image, text, design, video, film, painting...) from being used without their permission. Copyright means I must be careful what assets I use for the Effervescent can design and the advertising campaign. I will have to use creative commons assets and follow those laws or use royalty free assets which means I can use the assets however I would like to. If I used copyrighted assets when producing the canned drink design or in the advertising campaign, I would be violating copyright laws. Therefore, the copyright owner could ask me to take the adverts down, change my can design, ask me to pay for the asset or I could be fined. To counter this, I will use crea...

M2 - Justify design choices for your adverts

Image
M2 Effervescent Justifications Effervescent magazine advertisement The client brief has asked me to create a magazine advert for the multimedia advertising campaign. I have created a visualisation diagram to show what the final static magazine advertisement is intended to look like. I have used the colours orange and yellow. The orange represents sunrise, this relates to the purpose of my drink because my target audience is supposed to drink effervescent in the morning to feel happy and healthy for the rest of the day. The colour yellow represents the banana flavour of the drink and happiness, I want the effervescent brand and drink to be associated with happy feelings and this will influence the audience to buy the drink. I have drawn the can on the left of the screen to give room for the cross-media advertising campaign message and to show the beach scene. I am also going to target social grades C1-E. I am targetin...

P3 - Pitch documentation

Image
Market research mood boards Firstly, we looked at different drinks in the market to see what flavours and designs they have, we want to make the Effervescent healthy fizzy drink unique and find a USP for the product.                      Where does my brand sit in the market? I am tasked to make a healthy fizzy drink with one of these natural ingredients: apple, banana, strawberry, mango, pineapple. I have looked at the different healthy and unhealthy fizzy drinks in the drinks market, and I have evaluated that Banana will be the best flavour to use for my healthy fizzy drink. Not many other fizzy healthy drinks have banana and this is the USP of my drink product, therefore this drink will stand out from others in the market.  This Lotte Milkis fizzy drink is one of the only banana fizzy drinks I could find. This is m...

P2 - Proposal into how you will solve the brief

Image
Pitch   What have you asked us to do? Your company (Coca Cola LTD) has asked my independent company to design a new healthy fizzy drink with an advertising campaign. You have asked us to choose a fruit flavour from your recommendations and we chose to create a banana flavoured drink. We believe this is the best fruit flavour for the healthy fizzy drink because this would be one of the unique selling points of the product as there is a gap of banana flavoured drinks in the market. You have also asked us to create a plan for: A TV advertisement, billboard, web banner and magazine advert. However, you have asked us to only produce the web banner and magazine advertisement for the campaign. In addition, you have asked that the target audience for the healthy fizzy drink and the campaign is 16–25-year-old men and women of all ethnicities. We have considered all the requirements from the client brief you gave us.                   ...
